What is the future for the newspaper industry? How much influence do newspaper proprietors have?
Andrew Mullins, the Managing Director of the London Evening Standard and The Independent, will be sharing his opinions with Oxford Media Society on Tuesday!
Mullins was MD of Evening Standard before The Independent (and Indy on Sunday) was sold to Alexander Lebedev for £1. He now manages all papers in the group. He used to work for Rupert Murdoch's News International.
The Independent recently changed it's masthead and look to stand out more on the newsstands. They launched the i newspaper just last year. The Evening Standard has become a free paper. All fasincating stuff for media lovers.
