Ben Coooper is the current controller of BBC Radio 1. Over the summer, he announced that he was replacing long time Breakfast Show host Chris Moyles with Nick Grimshaw, truly making his mark on Radio 1 history.

Ben began his career on BBC Radio London before presenting and producing programmes for BBC Hereford and Worcester. He joined Radio 1 in 2006 and was appointed as Deputy Controller in 2009 and oversaw a major restructuring of programming.

This talk is a must for anyone interested in journalism or broadcast as well as all Radio 1 listeners.
