If you'd like to join Media Soc please pidge a cheque (made payable to 'Oxford Media Society') to Tom Seymour at Wadham College.

Membership fees are as follows:

One year's membership: £12
Life membership: £20

Benefits of joining:

• Free entry to all Media Soc events
• Invitations to social events
• Regular email updates on all the latest internship and job prospects
• Members will have the chance to go for dinner with our guests after they have spoken to the society

Non-members can attend speaker events by paying £3 on the door.

Four media award nominations for Oxford

Oxford is well represented in this year's Guardian Student Media Awards. Congratulations to the following for making the shortlist:

• Oxymoron - Magazine of the Year
  
• Hannah Kuchler (OxStu) - Reporter of the Year
  
• Cherwell - Publication Design of the Year and Website of the Year
